Lived experience of Adolescent Girls from Living in Pseudo-family

Introduction Every year, due to economic and social pressures, parents leave a large number of children in the community, which is most common form care for these around world, living pseudo-family centers (boarding houses). The aim this study was investigate lived experience teenage girls Method method present descriptive phenomenology. Based on sampling focused criteria theoretical saturation criteria, 26 adolescent who had 1399 (2020) participated study. Semi-structured interview used data collection Kolaizi’s seven-step analysis. Findings Analysis information obtained from interviews revealed eight main themes: negative emotions, psychological empowerment, attitude life, lack coping skills, mental preoccupations, needs, anxiety, orientation towards successful future. Discussion results showed that such centers, addition being psychologically empowered oriented future, were with challenges issues, as abandonment, depressed mood, behavioral problems injuries, discharge its problems, group life fear stigma deficiencies family emotional deficiencies.
